Lake Fork is located on the Sabine River in Hopkins, Rains and Wood Counties. This new lake (impounded in 1980) offers THE best largemouth bass fishing in texas. In fact about 70% of the top 50 Largemouth Bass (including the current record holder) have come from Lake Fork. This information came from the Texas Parks & Wildlife web site.
